Tipaje de los marcadores genéticos ABO, Rh, MNSs, Gc, Pi y AcP en la comarca salmantina de Las Arribes del Duero: aplicaciones medicolegales

Abstract

Los objetivos de este trabajo han sido conocer la distribución de las frecuencias fenotípicas y frecuencias génicas de tres grupos de antígenos eritrocitarios, ABO, Rh y MNSs, dos marcadores plasmáticos, proteínas Gc y Pi y de un marcador enzimático eritrocitario, la AcP1 en la comarca natural Las Arribes de la provincia de Salamanca. Se ha realizado la comparación los resultados obtenidos con las frecuencias génicas de estos marcadores genético-moleculares en otras poblaciones españolas.

The aim of the present work was to gain insight into the distribution of the phenotypical frequencies and gene frequencies of three groups of erythrocyte antigens-, ABO, Rh and MNSs-, two plasma markers -Gc and Pi proteins and one erythrocyte enzymatic marker- AcP1- in the Las Arribes disrict of the province of Salamanca (Spain). The results obtained were compared with the gene frequencies of these genetic-molecular markers in other Spanish populations. We also observed the existence of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium and calculated the heterozygosity index for each of the markers. Selection of subjects was based on the municipal census from 1996 in each municipality. The sample was selected by a simple randomised process, requesting participation from each person chosen. The sample comprised 404 individuals and was distributed proportionally to the number of inhabitants in each municipality.
