Esterilización tubárica y respuesta sexual

Abstract

Este trabajo ha analizado la respuesta sexual de la mujer que solicita esterilización tubárica como método anticonceptivo irreversible. El diseño metodológico de esta investigación fue realizado con una muestra de 100 mujeres, entre 30 y 40 años (media de edad = 35 años y 7 meses), que tenían entre 3 y 5 hijos (media de número de hijos = 4, 11) y entre 3 y 23 años de matrimonio (media de años de matrimonio = 13 años 7 meses). Se analizaron sus respuestas sexuales antes y un año después de la Esterilización Tubárica. En general los resultados han mostrado un aumento significativo del bienestar psíquico y de la salud mental reflejado en los importantes cambios realizados en su comportamiento sexual.

This work analyzed the sexual response in the women to want tubal sterilization as irreversible birth-control methods. The methodology design in this research was realized with a sample of 100 women, between 30 and 40 years (mean = 35 years and 7 months), between 3 and 5 children (mean = 4.11) and between 3 and 23 years of marriage (mean = 13 years and 7 months). Their sexual responses were analyzed before and one year after the tubal sterilization treatment. The results showed, generally, a significant increase in the psychic well-being and mental health reflected in the important changes obtained in the sexual behavior.
