Derechos humanos e inmigración: la aportación de Florentino Sanz

Abstract

El artículo es un recorrido por el pensamiento de Florentino Sanz sobre la inmigración hecho desde vivencias personales y conversaciones compartidas. A lo largo de losúltimos siete años, Floro se fue incorporando a la organización de las Jornadas Derechos Humanos e Inmigración que todos los años se celebran en Motril (Granada)y a través de ellas hemos compartido muchos planteamientos sobre el fenómeno de las migraciones desde la centralidad que deben tener los derechos humanos en este debate. Su aportación ha sido muy importante no sólo por su magnífico trabajo Identidad, alteridad y movimientos migratorios sino por sus intervenciones en los debates de lasjornadas. Su preocupación fundamental siempre fue por los más excluidos, aquellos en los que se daba la doble condición de extranjeros y pobres. Le echamos de menos para debatir las propuestas que están surgiendo en estas fechas sobre los otros .

The article explores the Florentino Sanz's thought on the inmigración from the point of view of personal experiences and also shared conversations. Along last seven years, Floro was joining to the organization of the "Human rights and Immigration Conference" which were every year celebrated in Motril (Granada, Spain); throughout we have shared many approaches on the phenomenon of the migration, from the centrality that Human Rights must take in this debate. His contribution has been very important not only for his extraordinary work " Identity, changing and migratory movements " but for his interventions in the debates of the conferences. His fundamental worry was always for those most excluded, those that were foreigners and poor. We miss him to debate the proposals that are arising in these dates on "the others".
