La calidad del e-learning en su implementación y desarrollo: Investigación Evaluativa y Consultoria Pedagógica

Abstract

La evolución de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) supone cambios determinantes en la realidad y cultura del S.XXI. La formación responde a las exigencias en estos términos ofreciendo soluciones muy interesantes en el marco de la sociedad de la información. En la actualidad nos encontramos en las redes telemáticas con amplia variedad y diversidad de cursos virtuales cuya calidad debe ser objeto de reflexión en aras de la mejora continua.El presente artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar desde una perspectiva crítica y constructivista los procesos de implantación del e-learning y de cómo la investigación evaluativa y consultoría pedagógica intervienen como acciones indispensables para ase-gurar el éxito y adecuación de nuestros cursos virtuales. De este modo, en el diseño y desarrollo de entornos virtuales de formación, supone un fascinante proyecto descubrir qué desafíos y compromisos debemos plantearnos desde el e-learning para la sociedad actual.

The evolution of Information and Communication Technologies means determinative changes in the reality and culture of the C21st. Education responds to requirements in these terms offering very interesting solutions in the field of information society. Nowadays we are witnessing a wide variety and diversity of virtual courses in the telematic webs. The quality of these courses must be an object of reflection in order to achieve a constant improvement.The aim of this article is to reflect upon two main issues, both from the point of view of criticism and constructivism. On the one hand it is aimed at reflecting on implantation processes of e-learning. On the other hand it also wants to analyse how evaluative in-vestigation and pedagogic consulting intervene as essential actions to ensure success and adequacy in our virtual courses.This way, it is a fascinating project to discover what are the challenges and commitments that we must think about from e-learning perspec-tive for current society in the design and development of virtual environments of educa-tion.
