Resumen
Un equipo multidisciplinario de carácter universitario (chileno-español) yprofesoras de una escuela pública de la región de Valparaíso (Chile), llevaron a cabo una iniciativa destinada a diseñar y poner en práctica una secuencia formativa, que incorporando en sus actividades el uso del videojuego de estrategia Age of Empire , pudieramediar aprendizajes curriculares correspondientes a los subsectores de Comprensión de la Sociedad y Educación Matemática . La aplicación de este diseño de clases implicó trabajar con 78 estudiantes de 7º años básico, los cuales realizaron tres tipos de uso del videojuego: nivelación, indagación y evaluación. A través de la metodología deEstudio de Caso de tipo Descriptivo se llevo a cabo la recopilación y análisis de datos que permitió caracterizar las prácticas e interacciones surgidas en la relación entre pares, el rol docente, y los aportes del videojuego. Los principales resultados muestran, por un lado, lo importante que es (i)qué los docentes aprendan a jugar, (ii)participen deuna instancia de colaboración para poder diseñar nuevos ambientes de aprendizaje, y por otro lado, (iii)las tipologías de colaboración y cooperación surgidas entre los estudiantes, y (iv)las oportunidades ofrecidas por el videojuego para aproximarse a la realidadde los fenómenos. A multidisciplinary university team (Chilean-Spanish) and teachers of a public school of the region of Valparaíso (Chile), they carried out an initiative dedicated to design and to apply a formative sequence that incorporating in their activities the use of the strategy video game "Age of Empire", it could mediate curricular learnings correspondingto the sub sectors of "Understanding of the Society" and Mathematical Education . The application of this design of classes implied to work with 78 students of K7, which carried out three types of use of the video game: levelling, inquiry and evaluation. Through the methodology of Study of Case of Descriptive type you carries out the summary and analysis of data that it allowed to characterize the practices andinteractions arisen in the relationship among even, the teacher role, and the contributions of the video game. The main results show, on one hand, the important thing that it is for the professors (i) to learn and to revalue playing, (ii) to participate of an instance of collaboration to be able to design new learning atmospheres., and on the other hand, (iii) the typology of collaboration and cooperation arisen among the students, and (iv) the opportunities offered by the video game to approach to the reality of the phenomena.
