Relación entre la televisión y la manifestación de problemas conductuales en niños preescolares

Abstract

[ES] En este estudio se realiza el análisis del uso de la televisión en niños de 4 a 5 años de edad y su relación con los problemas de conducta. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario sobre el comportamiento de niños de 11/2-5 años de T. Achenbach y L. Rescorla (2002), aplicado a 535 padres de niños de 20 escuelas de nivel preescolar que resultaron de un muestreo representativo de la ciudad de Xalapa-México a fin de identificar problemas conductuales en los niños, el Cuestionario para padres sobre la televisión y su relación sobre los problemas de conducta, la Entrevista sobre preferencias televisivas en el niño preescolar y el Grupo de Discusión con Maestros de Educación Preescolar. El análisis realizado es descriptivo y multivariado, no encontrándose una relación directa entre el tiempo de visión y los programas televisivos respecto a los problemas de conducta en los niños, marcándose la influencia en el entorno familiar y el estrato socioeconómico.

[EN] In this study the analysis of the use of the television in children of 4 to 5 years old and their relation with the behavior problems is made. The instruments were the Questionnaire of the children behavior of 11/2-5 years of T. Achenbach and L. Rescorla, applied to 535 parents of children of 20 schools that turned out from a representative sampling of the city of Xalapa-Mexico in order to identify behavior problems in the infants, the Questionnaire for parents on the television and its relation on the behavior problems, the Interview on televising preferences in the preschooler and the Group of Discussion with Teachers of Preeschool Education. The made analysis is as much descriptive as multivaried, not being a direct relation between the televising time of vision and programs with respect to the problems of conduct in the infants, marking itself the influence in the familiar surroundings and the socioeconomic layer.
