El comercio marítimo de Mallorca en el tránsito a la modernidad

Abstract

[ES] A través de los contratos de seguro se estudia el comercio marítimo de Mallorca en la segunda mitad del siglo XV y en 1524. Se ofrecen cuadros estadísticos por períodos de los puertos de destino de las exportaciones de Mallorca, así como del valor de cada producto. Entre 1448 y 1464 la principal zona de destino de las exportaciones mallorquínas era Berbería, entre 1465 y 1468 era Nápoles, y en 1524 era Palermo. Los tejidos eran la principal exportación.

[EN] By means of insurance policies dating from the second half of the 15th century and from the year 1524, we have studiend the maritime trade of Majorca. Statical figures are given by periods of years, taken from the different destination harbours for Majocan exported articles, including the price of each product. Between 1448 and 1464 the main destination zone for Majorcan exports was Barbary. Between 1465 i 1468 it was Naples, and in 1524 Palermo. The chief export products were textiles.
