El Neolítico antiguo en Aragón: Habitat y territorio

Abstract

[ES] Las recientes excavaciones en yacimientos neolíticos aragoneses han permitido realizar estudios exhaustivos sobre diferentes aspectos de su cultura material. Los ensayos sobre industria lítica, cerámica, objetos de hueso y adorno, junto a las dataciones absolutas, muestran las afinidades de estas comarcas con el proceso de neolitización del Mediterráneo occidental. En este trabajo abordamos el análisis de hábitats y territorios de explotación, al mismo tiempo que intentamos definir las bases económicas, la funcionalidad y la posible relación entre los yacimientos catalogados. Los resultados completan e incrementan notablemente el volumen de información disponible, ayudando a comprender mejor el proceso de transición Epipaleolítico/Neolítico, la posterior adopción de nuevas formas de subsistencia y su posible incidencia en las relaciones sociales. Por último proponemos una nueva periodización, alejada de las manejadas hasta ahora, a la vez que intentamos explicar el origen y evolución del Neolítico aragonés recurriendo a modelos que reflejan con mayor claridad la complejidad del fenómeno.

[EN] Recent excavations in neolithic aragonese sites have allowed to undertaken exhaustive studies on varions aspects of their material culture. Diverse ensays on lithic industry, ceramics, bone and adorn crafts, as well as radiocarbon data shows the affinities of these áreas with the neolitization in Western Mediterranean. This paper focuses on habitat and site territory, and tries also to define the economíc structure, functionality, and possible link among the site considered. The results complete and increase considerably the amount of information avalaible, contributing to a better understanding of the Epipalaeolithic/Neolithic transition, the ulterior adquisition of new forms of subsistence and their possible effect on the level of social behaviour. Lastly, a new periodization, different from the up-to-date usual ones, is proposed, as well as an attempt to explain tue origin and development of the arargonese neolithic appealing to models expressing more clearly the complexity of the topic.
