Relación entre neandertales y cromañones: un enfoque cognitivo

Abstract

[ES] En el presente trabajo se analizarán las diferencias de las dos poblaciones humanas que vivieron en Europa durante el inicio del Paleolítico Superior, desde un punto de vista cognitivo y cultural. La meta que se persigue es una mejor comprensión sobre la relación biológica que pudo existir entre ellos, así como las capacidades cognitivas que pueden deducirse de la conducta observada en el registro arqueológico. La síntesis de estos análisis nos puede aclarar, con un mayor poder explicativo, importantes aspectos sobre su diferente cultura y la definitiva desaparición del Neandertal.

[EN] This current essay will analyze, in terms of cognition and cultural, the differences between two human groups that lived in Europe in the beginning of Upper Paleolithic. The aim is the understanding of the biological relationship that could have existed, as well as the cognitive capacities deduced by the behavior in the archeological register. The synthesis of this analysis shows the important aspects of their culture and the definitive disappearance of the Neanderthal beings.
