El castro de Saceda y la jerarquización territorial de la Segunda Edad del Hierro en el noroeste ibérico

Abstract

[ES] Al contrario que en otras regiones ibéricas, los lugares centrales y la jerarquización territorial en el norte de Portugal y noroeste de España (Gallaecia) se han considerado tradicionalmente un fenómeno tardío, derivado de la conquista romana del área. A partir de la revisión de un castro gallego escasamente conocido, se ofrece una nueva aproximación a los lugares centrales de fines de la Edad del Hierro en Gallaecia.

[EN] Unlike in other Iberian regions, central places and regional hiérarchisation in northern Portugal and the NW of Spain (Gallaecia) have been traditionally considered late phenomena, a by-product of the Roman conquest of the area. Starting from a re-examination of a scarcely known hillfort from Galicia (NW Spain), a new interpretation of the Late Iron Age central places in Gallaecia is offered.
