Unamuno, lo inconsciente y la historia

Abstract

[ES] La clialéctica unamuniana pretende conseguir un efecto retórico: producir en el alma del lector el movimiento de las olas del mar, metáfora que utiliza para exponer su teoría de la intrahistoria. Este concepto ha de verse también en relación con las nacientes teorías de lo Inconsciente, que tanta aceptación tienen hoy. El conocimiento termina siempre, según Unamuno, en la percepción de lo individual, concreto. En este contexto se entiende el «nimbo” y la crítica unamuniana de Calderón y los escritores «castizos».

[EN] The Unamunian dialectic was aimed at achieving a rhetorical effect: to produce in the reader's soul the movement of the waves of the sea, a metaphor that he used to expound his theory of «intrahistoria». This concept must also be seen in the nascent theories of the Unconscious, which are so well accepted today. According to Unamuno, knowledge always ends in the perception of the individual, the concrete. Within this context, "nimbo" is understood as well as Unamuno's criticsm of Calderón and the "castizo" writers.
