Nueva lectura del Diario intimo de Unamuno

Abstract

[ES] El autor, que ya había trabajado sobre el Diario íntimo en 1962-1963, vuelve ahora a reflexionar sobre el tema comentando los estudios publicados desde entonces, revisa sus propios juicios y sostiene, con matices, la misma tesis de hace treinta y cinco arios, tanto sobre la crisis religiosa unamuniana de 1897 como sobre la estructuración de la personalidad de Unamuno, que incide en su inautenticidad, que no comedia. De todo ello se deriva la contradicción perpetua en que vivió toda su vida. Analiza con detalle dos aspectos: la contradicción que evidencia el Diario íntimo entre razón y verdad vital, entre morir y sobrevivir. Las afirmaciones se apoyan en citas y en el comentario de textos del Diario. Todo tras una relectura entrariada más que especulativa.

[EN] The author, who had already worked on the Diario íntimo in 1962-1963 returns to it, approaching the topic through commentaries on the studies published since then, revisions on his own judgements, and the defense, with nuances, of the same thesis he presented thirty five years ago; both concerning Unamuno's 1897 crisis and the structuralization of Unamuno's personality, which influences his lack of authenticity, but not his comedy. All of this results in the perpetual contradiction in which he lived his life. Two aspects are analized in detail: the contradiction, as shown in the Diario íntimo, between reason and vital truth, dying and surviving. The statements are based on quotes and textual commentary on the Diario. All of this, after a re-reading that is more thorough than merely speculative.
