El manual de quijotismo y cómo se hace una novela: diario éxtimo y cuaderno de bitácora de una novela sin escribir

Abstract

[ES] Se suele presentar Cómo se hace una novela como un texto híbrido, a medio camino entre el ensayo, la novela y la autobiografía. El estudio del inédito Manual de quijotismo, en el que se debería incluir Cómo se hace una novela, permite valorar el componente diarista de los escritos, lo que lleva a una inflexión genérica de la recepción de las obras. Al mismo tiempo, una valoración del componente político de los textos aboca al reconocimiento de una retórica específica al conjunto de escritos del exilio, definida como retórica de la cólera.

[EN] Cómo se hace una novela has often been regarded as a hybrid text, halfway between the essay, the novel, and the autobiography. A close look at the as yet unpublished Manual de quijotismo, of which Cómo se hace una novela is a constituent part, sheds new light on the diaristic dimension of the work, a perspective leading to a new consideration of its generic dimension. A political reading of the text reveals the traits of a specific rhetoric of exile which we shall define as a rhetoric of anger.
