Abstract

RESUMEN: La ciudad de Prw-nfr desarrolló una importante industria, hacia mediados de la XVIII dinastía, ligada al palacio de Menfis. El presente artículo se centra en los astilleros cuyo director fue el Hijo del Rey.Y pretende un estudio de conjunto del astillero: la administración, la mano de obra, las materias primas y el destino final de los barcos. Con el fin de demostrar la importancia, para las relaciones de Egipto con el extranjero e internamente, de la navegación de los mares y el Nilo.

ABSTRACT: Toward the middle of the 18th Dynasty the city oí Prw-nfr developed an important industry in connection with the Palace of Menphis.This article focuses on the shipyards directed by the Son of the King, and makes an overall study of the shipyard per se: administration,labour,raw materials and final destinations of ships.The aim of this study is to show the importance of navigation, both on the Nile and on the seas, to Egypt's national and international relations.
