[ES]Por lo general la idea que tiene el público de Paleontología es muy difusa y suele imaginarse un mundo exótico, pasado, poblado de animales y plantas extrañas y con una fauna humana de los más peculiar y anacrónica, mezclando organismos que no pudieron vivir nunca juntos. Esta imagen tan fascinante y tan falsa, alimentada porla literatura fantástica y el Séptimo Arte, se está sustituyendo gracias a las campañas de difusión y a las exposiciones. La última que tan gran éxito ha tenido, es sobre la que trata este artículo dado el interés demostrado por el numeroso público visitante y sus continuas peticiones de información.

[EN]Generally the idea that the public has of Palaeontology is very diffuse and often imagine an exotic world, past, inhabited by strange animals and plants and human fauna of the most peculiar and anachronistic, mixing live organisms that could not never together. This image is so fascinating and so fake, fed Porla fantasy and the Seventh Art, is being replaced by the campaigns and exhibitions.
