dc.description.abstract[ES] Se reconsidera como única especie válida entre las tortugas terrestres gigantes del Mioceno español, a Cheirogaster bolivari (Hernández-Pacheco, 1917). Ch. richarcli (Bergounioux, 1938) es sinónima de la anterior. Se presenta una nueva localidad con tortugas terrestres gigantes del Mioceno medio de Segovia (Castilla y León España): Chañe.es_ES
dc.description.abstract[EN] Among all the species of giant Miocene land tiles of Spain the only valid one is Cheirogaster bolivari (Hernández-Pacheco, 1917). Ch. Richardi (Bergounioux, 1938) is synonym to the aforementioned one, In addition Chañe, a new locality with land giant turtles from the Miocene of Segovia (Castilla y Le6n), is presented.
