Evolución de la terapéutica balnearia: un espacio interdisciplinar

Abstract

[ES]En las últimas décadas del siglo XIX se configura una nueva concepción del balneario como industria en la que se aúnan ocio y terapéutica. Esta nueva visión confluye con los movimientos de carácter alternativo que surgían en centroeuropa desde mediados de siglo. De esta forma, el balneario va a mostrar una postura ecléctica, integradora y comercialmente competitiva al ofrecer buena parte de las terapéuticas no oficiales que fundamentarían la terapéutica física y la aparición de la fisioterapia.
