dc.description.abstract[ES] Se describen los restos vertebrales de un vipérido exhumado de sedimentitas pertenecientes a la "Formación" San Andrés (Pleistoceno temprano) aflorantes en la playa de Santa Isabel, provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Estos restos representan el primer registro de la familia Viperidae en Argentina y el más antiguo de América del Sur.es_ES
dc.description.abstract[EN] A description of vertebral remains of a viperid exhumed from the San Andrés "Formation" (early Pleistocene) at Santa Isabel beach, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is given. This is the first record of Viperidae in Argentina and the oldest in South America.en_EN
