Recuerdo, silencio y amnistía en la transición y en la democracia españolas (1975-2006)

Abstract

[ES] La eclosión de los estudios sobre la historia de la memoria en España ha girado fundamentalmente sobre los periodos de la Guerra Civil Española y sobre el franquismo. La memoria de la democracia, elaborada en el propio periodo democrático, constituye un tema de investigación apasionante, sólo abordado en algunos artículos. En esta historia del presente se ofrece una síntesis diacrónica en la que emergen algunos actores, conmemoraciones, el calendario o el callejero, y una cierta perspectiva internacional, como exponente de ese interés memorial despertado por y sobre la democracia española.

[EN] The blossoming of studies on the history of memory in Spain has revolved mainly around the periods of the Spanish Civil War and the Franco era. The memory of democracy itself, produced in the democratic period, is an exciting topic for research and has only been dealt with in a few articles. This history of the present offers a diachronic synthesis from which emerge certain actors, commemorations, changes in the holiday calendar and the names of streets and a certain international perspective as the exponent of this memorial interest awakened by and about Spanish democracy.
