Una aproximación a la Guerra Civil en Castilla y León

Abstract

[ES] La Guerra Civil española (1936-1939) en Castilla y León se caracteriza por la rapidez con la que los sublevados consiguieron controlar toda la región, dando comienzo a una fuerte represión. En este artículo se analiza lo ocurrido en cada una de las provincias en julio de 1936, así como los aspectos militares (guerra de columnas, frente de la sierra de Madrid, frente norte) y las guerrillas del sistema Central y los montes de León.

[EN] The Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) in Castilla y Leon is characterized by the rapidity with which the rebels were able to control the entire region, ushering in a strong repression. This article examines what happened in each of the provinces in July 1936, and military aspects (war of columns in front of the Sierra de Madrid, facing north) and the guerrillas of the Central and the mountains of Leon.
