El nihilismo virtual en la sociedad hipertecnológica

Abstract

[ES]Hoy emerge un nuevo tipo de nihilismo, paradójico y afirmativo, sustentado en las nuevas tecnologías porque hay un cambio profundo en la forma en que concebimos y tr atamos con las cosas: la “realidad virtual” supone la ausencia de las dimensiones física y biológica de los seres, en un mundo sin historia. Bits (en lugar de cuerpos) y ficciones (en lugar de hechos) constituyen un imaginario colectivo semejante a un gran espectáculo, donde todo es posible pero nada es real

[EN]Today is rising another kind of nihilism, a paradoxical and affirmative one, supported by new technolo gies because there is a deep change in the way that we conceive and deal with things: the “virtual reality” means the absence of physical and biological dimensions of beings, in a world without any history. Bits (instead of bodies) and fictions (instead of facts) make a social imaginary like a big show business, where everything is possible but nothing is real
