salud sexual y reproductiva responsable.
[EN]This research had as objective to describe behaviors and knowledge of Chilean and Spanish
young women about HPV and overall sexual and reproductive health. Thus, it seeks to identify
psychosocial issues that may influence the different epidemiological trends by Chile and Spain,
which aren´t explainable from the biomedical model, considering that both countries have
equivalent medical technology, diagnosis and treatment. This investigation was thought from
the Medical Anthropology and Sociocultural Epidemiology perspective, and has integrated
qualitative and quantitative methods for the production of information, and analysis.
