Entre el rito y la geometría Rodríguez Méndez, Francisco Javier Ramos Calle, Higinio García Gago, Jesús María García, Simón (Arquitecto) Arquitectos Salamanca (España) Compendio de architectura y Simetría de los templos Architects 5506.01 Historia de la arquitectura 6201 Arquitectura [EN] The aim of this research is analysing the layouts that Simón García, an obscure 17th century author from Salamanca, included on his book ‘Summary of architecture and symmetry of the Temples, in accordance with the measurement of the human body, with some geometrical demonstrations’ (1681). Some authors have tried, more or less successfully, to prove Simón García’s ‘layout of a 5 aisles temple’, at the ground plan of a few of our cathedrals.
