Pugna de poderes y salidas anticipadas: explicando la modalidad de resolución de las crisis presidenciales Power struggle and early departures: explaining modes of resolution of presidential crisis Aversa, Cecilia Inés Congreso Crisis presidenciales Juicio político Renuncia Presidente This article explains why some presidential crises end up with the resignation of the president and others trigger the impeachment against him. Research results suggest that: a) some of the variables that shape Executive-Legislative relation and causes political instability, also explain the way the instability is resolved in the framework of the presidential regime; and that b) the isolated influence of these key factors does not explain, by itself, early departures modalities of elected leaders. Este artículo explica por qué algunas crisis presidenciales culminan con la renuncia del presidente y otras desencadenan su remoción.
