<mods:abstract>[ES]Mediante el uso de birnesitas como fotocatalizadores se produce la degradación del contaminante 4-nitrofenol en agua. En el presente trabajo se han sintetizado birnesitas potásicas mediante dos procedimientos; sol-gel y oxidación, para hacer posible la posterior comparación de su composición, propiedades y efectividad de la degradación.</mods:abstract>
<mods:abstract>[EN]Through the use os birnessites as photocatalysis, the degradation of 4-nitrophenol takes place to eliminate the pollutant presented in the water. In this work, potassium birnessites have been synthesized by two different procedures: sol-gel and oxidation. In this way, the comparison of its composition, properties and degradation activities is possible.</mods:abstract>
