<dc:description>[ES]  Venezuela a partir de la década de los setenta, comienza un cambio en el concepto  de la música instrumental de raíz tradicional venezolana. Los arreglos, el formato, los  géneros a interpretar, las formas de expresión y ejecución van a ser la clave del  cambio en la música que se venía haciendo en el país. Básicamente gracias a tres  agrupaciones: Luis Laguna y su Venezuela 4 (1973), el grupo Raíces de Venezuela  (1976) y El Cuarteto (1979). A partir de ahí se fue generando un movimiento de  agrupaciones y músicos volcados a la música tradicional venezolana. &#xd;
Dicho movimiento fue creciendo año tras año, incorporándose músicos venidos del  ambiente académico, del jazz, de lo folklórico, de lo popular y por supuesto de lo  tradicional, convergiendo en propuestas novedosas. Ya en el siglo XXI comienzan a  florecer una gran cantidad de proyectos con propuestas interesantes, demostrando y  afianzando el recorrido que se había tenido en los años previos. Pero después del  2013, la situación política, social y sobre todo económica va a empeorar de manera  alarmante en el país. Con este panorama servido comienza uno de los éxodos de  venezolanos más importantes de la historia de la nación, marcando el final de una  etapa importante en la música instrumental de raíz tradicional venezolana.</dc:description>
<dc:description>[EN] In Venezuela from the seventies, a change began in the concept of traditional  Venezuelan instrumental music. The arrangements, the format, the genres to be  interpreted, the forms of expression and performance are going to be the key to the  change in the music that was being made in the country. Basically thanks to three  groups: Luis Laguna y su Venezuela 4 (1973), the group Raíces de Venezuela (1976)  and El Cuarteto (1979). From there, a movement of groups and musicians focused on  traditional Venezuelan music was generated. &#xd;
This movement grew year after year, incorporating musicians from the academic, jazz,  folkloric, popular and, of course, traditional environments, converging on new  proposals. Already in the 21st century, a large number of projects with interesting  proposals began to flourish, demonstrating and consolidating the path that had been  taken in previous years. But after 2013, the political, social and even more economic  situation is going to worsen hence alarmingly in the country. With this panorama  served, one of the most important exoduses of Venezuelans in the history of the nation  begins, marking the end of an important era in traditional Venezuelan instrumental  music.</dc:description>
