<description>[ES] La Tiroiditis Autoinmune es una enfermedad tiroidea con un aumento de la&#xd;
incidencia en los últimos años y la principal causa de hipotiroidismo en zonas con&#xd;
ingesta suficiente de yodo.&#xd;
Uno de los principales sistemas antioxidantes endógenos es la vía de&#xd;
señalización centrada en NRF2 (Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2) y su&#xd;
inhibidor citoplasmático KEAP1 (Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1). En los últimos&#xd;
años se han establecido muchas relaciones entre esta vía de señalización y la&#xd;
fisiopatología tiroidea, además de varias patologías tiroideas incluyendo el bocio,&#xd;
hipotiroidismo, hipertiroidismo y cáncer. Sobre esta base se establece la posibilidad de&#xd;
que polimorfismos de dichos genes estén involucrados en la génesis de la TA.&#xd;
Se establece también la hipótesis de que polimorfismos de la citocina IL 10&#xd;
puedan estar implicados en la generación de la TA.</description>
