[EN] In this thesis, we present two novel target positioning systems for femtosecond
lasers. These two systems were designed to work within the Rayleigh range with
high precision. One of these positioning systems is based on an astigmatic confocal
setup, which will determine the relative target position in terms of the astigmatism.
This system is capable to determine the quantity and direction of movement of the
target. We demonstrated tolerance to targets with rough surfaces and to a wide
range of angles of incidence. A sensitivity of 1.64 ×10−2μm−1 was achieved, cause
to the integration of an assistant lens to the original astigmatic setup.
The other positioning systems is based on a confocal con gurtion and a nonlinear
detection element by Two Photon Absorption (TPA). This positioning system
is named as Nonlinear Confocal Positioner (NCP) presents a high sensitivity
and precision in the location of targets due to the quadratic dependence with the
intensity of the laser beam. We demonstrate uncertainty of 5 μm equivalent to the
scan resolution in the optical axis (axis - z). These two positioning systems has
great potential applications in microfabrication with lasers and laser-driven plasma
accelerators even at high repetition rates.</dc:description>
