The complex media sorption is done by using different types of magnetic particles (resin and polymeric covered magnetite) giving good results for removing detergents, phosphates and COD and moderate results for the sorption of nitrogen and several heavy metals. Important kinetic parameters were obtained by data fitting for the pseudo first and second order, and for simplified Elovich models.
