[EN] At the current time of global change, where energy and food transitions are taking on a very significant role in socio-territorial processes, it is necessary to make students aware of the existing reality, characterised by a production model that is unsustainable in the long term with the environment. To this end, through the opportunity offered by the ‘Women who change the USAL’ programme launched by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit of the Vice-Rectorate for Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Salamanca, a transfer activity has been proposed for 4th year ESO students, where they have been given a series of workshops to make them aware of the importance of the geographical origin of the food they eat, and they themselves carry out a brief investigation on this aspect through field work. This communication will show the results obtained throughout the development of the project during the months of January, February and March 2025, as well as the didactic tools used to carry it out. In short, through the transfer of knowledge of the research being carried out in the university geographical area, with the support of secondary school teachers in secondary schools, in this case in Salamanca, it has been possible to set up a transversal teaching with other subjects, such as economics, which will allow for raising students' awareness of the importance of current geographical processes.
