Jiménez Castillo, Juan 2007 En este artículo destacaremos los componentes relevantes y las bases definitorias del analfabetismo funcional, a la par que también pondremos de relieve la existencia de ciertos campos problemáticos en la definición del concepto: definición en sí de la funcionalidad, priorización del enfoque funcional, ambigüedad/polisemia del concepto, analfabetismo de retorno, competencias básicas y teoría del déficit cognitivo en el aprendizaje lectoescritor. Se trata de analizar el estado actual del concepto, las tendencias de las últimas investigaciones, así como las bases y elementos para una concluyente conceptualización del analfabetismo funcional. In this article we will highlight the relevant components and the distinctive principles of functional illiteracy, at the same time we will emphasize the existence of certain problematic fields in the definition of the concept: Definition of functionality in itself, prioritization of the functional approach, ambiguity / polysemy of the concept, illiteracy of return, basic competences and the theory of the cognitive deficit in the learning of reading and writing.
