El cine como arte centrado en el hombre proporciona su propio análisis de la muerte. Este artículo analiza las respuestas humanas a situaciones derivadas del final de la vida, pérdidas de seres queridos, tipos de muertes, duelo individual-familiar y otros; en dos películas representativas, Muerte de un viajante/ Death of a Salesman (1985) de Valker Schlondoff y El amor ha muerto/ LŽAmour a Mort (1984) de Alain Resnais.</dim:field>
<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es_ES">[EN] It is easy to check the knowledge and advances that thanatology has contributed to society. The cinema, as an art form focused on human beings, provides its own analysis of death. The present article explores human responses to situations deriving from end-of-life issues, the loss of loved ones, types of death, individual-family grieving and other aspects in two representative films: Death of a Salesman (1985) by Wolker Schlöndoff and L Amour á mort (1984) by Michel Choquet.</dim:field>
