La suma anual de las concentraciones medias diarias fue de 36.629 gr/m3, pertenecientes a 44 taxa. El más abundante fue Populus con 9.110 gr/m3, seguido de Poaceae con 6.452. En cuanto a la flora ornamental destacarla abundancia de Cupressaceae con un total de 2.493 gr/m3 identificados durante 45 semanas. Las gramíneas estuvieron presentes en 37 semanas, siendo el segundo taxon con mayor permanencia en la atmósfera. We have carried out the study of the airborne pollen in Salamancaduring 1996, year that showed heavy rainfalls along January and December, a dryseason during the summer period and a slight rise in the monthly temperatures average.The annual sum of diary average concentrations was 36.629 gr/m3, belonging to 44 taxa. The most abundant taxon was Populus with 9.110 gr/m3, followed by Poaceae with 6.452 gr/m3. With reference to the ornamental flora, we want to stress the abundance of Cupressaceae with 2.493 gr/m3 identified along 45 weeks.
