El artículo propone la discusión de estas teorías, y la reflexión sobre los objetos y los métodos de la historia cultural, que podrían aplicarse con notables resultados al análisis de los procesos sociales del Islam Clásico. Se discute concretamente el concepto de cultura utilizado por Ibn Jaldu@n a partir de las reflexiones de pensadores como Veblen, Adorno, Freud y Elias.</dim:field>

This paper reflects upon these theories, as well as the benefits of Cultural History, through debate on his objectives and methods, that could be applied to the study of Classical Islam. The concept of culture used by Ibn Khaldu@n, through the reflections of diverse thinkers such as Veblen, Adorno, Freud, and Elias, is discussed.</dim:field>
