Los estudios posteriores se basaron en los materiales recuperados los cuales fueron datados en la Edad del Hierro. Nuestra intervención (1992) confirmó la existencia de áreas intactas en el yacimiento. También se pudo establecer una secuencia con dos momentos de ocupación diferentes. Entre ambas se reconoció un nivel de incendio. Tanto las estructuras constructivas como los materiales parecen ratificar la cronología prerromana. [EN] The hillfort of Caravia (Asturias) was one of the first in wich archaeological excavations were carried out (1 917) & 1918). Subsequent investigations were based on the artefacts recovered that were dated in the Iron Age. Our archaeological work (1992) confirmed the existence of untouched areas in the site.
