Flavius Fimbria is one of those singular topics we find from time to time, when we read the classic sources concerning to the Roman Republic. As a Caius or Heliogabalus, important celebrities but freak persons too, the Fimbria's biographical sketch is showed us like an evil spirit. Starting from a new analysis and lecture of the literary texts, we achieved an essay of re-examination about this consular and senator. We're going to propose some new facts on his political career, and to bring forward a distinct view about critical events in what the Republic found itself plunged for the 86/84 b.C.</dim:field>
