En esta tesis se dan importantes pasos en el estudio del número de componentes conexas del espacio de moduli M(G) cuando G = SO0(p, q). El resultado principal es un Teorema donde se da una completa descripción de los mínimos lisos de la función de Hitchin en el espacio de moduli de SO0(p, q)-fibrados de Higgs. Aplicando este teorema resolvemos el problema del cómputo de componentes conexas del espacio de moduli de SO0(1, n)-fibrados de Higgs con n impar. [EN]In this thesis, the notions of semi-stable, stability and polyester to SO (n, C) and SO0 (p, q)-Higgs bundles of applying general notions given by García-Prada, Goth and Mundet i Riera, who generalize results given by Ramanathan for principal bundles, and shows how the notions of semistable and stability can be simplified. In this thesis, there are significant steps in the study of the number of connected components of the moduli space M (G) when G = SO0 (p, q). The main result is a theorem which gives a complete description of the minimum smooth function Hitchin moduli space of SO0 (p, q)-Higgs bundles.
