<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es_ES">[ES] Los textos que se presentan en este artículo nos marcan las distintas tendencias que ha habido en la composición de música de cine desde que se alejó del estilo del sinfonismo inicial de los años 40, hasta las tendencias más vanguardistas. Dentro del panorama americano presentamos a los ganadores de oscars Alex North y Elmer Berstein. En Europa, a músicos que presentan diferencias tendencias, como Maurice Jarre, Georges Delerue, Gabriel Yared y Patrick Doyle. Como músicos españoles hemos buscado a representantes de cada generación: al último músico de la generación del 27, Montsalvage; al de la generación del 45 García Segura; a los académicos de la  generación del 51 Bernaola y García Abril; y finalmente al compositor de música incidental de cine, teatro y ballet Pepe Nieto.</dim:field>
<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">[EN] The texts in this article show us the different trends that have exist in the composition of film music since it moved away from the style of the initial symphonism of the 40s, up to the most ultramodern trends. Inside the American panorama there are winners of oscars as Alex North or Elmer Berstein. In Europe, we see musicians which differente composition styles as Maurice Jarre, Georges Delerue, Gabriel Yared or Patrick Doyle. As Spanish musicians we have looked for representatives of every generation: from the&#xd;
last musician of the silver generation of 1927, Montsalvage; for the generation of 1945 García Segura; as academics of the generation of 1951 Bernaola and García Abril; and, finally, the composer of incidental music for cinema, theatre and ballet Pepe Nieto.</dim:field>
