[ES] A través de la correspondencia personal de Benedicto XIV se estudia su pontificado. El proyecto de Benedicto XIV (Próspero Lambertini) fue global. Se fundaba en la armonía entre papado y reinos católicos. Para ello tuvo que hacer concesiones concordatarias: se redujeron los privilegios e inmunidades eclesiásticas. Asumió la pérdida de poder del papado en el ámbito internacional pero consideró intocable su magisterio pastoral, espiritual y apostólico.
[EN]Personal correspondence of Benedicto XIV helps to study his Pontificate. The project of Benedicto XIV (Prosperous Lambertini) was global. It was based on the harmony between the Pope and the catholic kingdoms. To achieve this, concordat concessions had to be made: privilege and ecclesiastical immunities were reduced. The Pope assumed the power lost in the International context, but pastoral, spiritual and apostolic influences were considered untouchable.
