Para Unamuno la vida es el fundamento del Ser, la fuente y origen de todo sentido; para comprenderla es comprender el Ser. Según sea el vivir , así será lo vivido, que es el Ser. El artículo está desarrollado en torno al concepto de vida, su relación con otros aspectos como la nada, el amor, la vida como creadora de realidades, el primado ontológico de la vida.
