La mayor parte del léxico analizado aparece recogido en obras matemáticas, especialmente en las aritméticas de tipo práctico, cuya importancia precisamente ha sido puesta de relieve por los historiadores de la ciencia. En los repertorios lexicográficos que constituyen una fuente imprescindible, se ve reflejada la variedad territorial y temporal de los distintos módulos de medición. Pretendemos, así, obtener una modesta contribución a los escasos estudios léxicos que abordan la temática metrológica en la época renacentista.; In this paper we attempt to make a review of the Renaissance metrical system-- with special attention to the system of weigsts and dry/liquid measures-- and to analyze its lexicographic studio. Most of this vocabulary is present in some works about mathematics, specially practical arithmetics. This great importance has been stressed by present-day scientific historians. the territorial and temporal diversities of the measures appear in those dictionaries which constitute an essential source for its study, namely Autoridades and Terreros, among others. In so doing, it is our aim to make a little contribution to the study about metrical lexis in the Renaissance.

Especial importancia presentan las matemáticas, que despliegan su utilidad sobre distintos ámbitos científico-técnicos como el militar, en cuya tratadística comprobamos innumerables muestras de aplicaciones, sobre todo, centradas en el cálculo de las distancias y en el alcance de las piezas.Con nuestro estudio léxico procuramos realizar un repaso del sistema metrológico en la época renacentista, con especial atención a un conjunto particular de unidades de longitud e instrumentos de medición utilizados en el ámbito militar a finales del siglo XVI y comienzos del XVII. Pretendemos, asi, completar el panorama del sistema metrológico en la época renacentista del que nos hemos ocupado en trabajos anteriores, con el fin de contribuir a los escasos estudios léxicos existentes sobre metrología histórica.; In century 16th century it is proved the development of a high number of disciplines and techniques. The mathematics display a special importance in the scientific and technical areas like the military subject. In those works we verified many examples of its applications about the calculation of the distances and ranges, mainly. In this paper we attempt to make a review of the Renaissance metrical system with special attention to the specific units of length and instruments of measurement it is used in the military area at the end of the 16th century and at the beginning of the 17th century. In so doing, it is our aim to make a little contribution to the study about metrical lexis in the Renaissance.
