Evaluation and follow up of supported employment initiatives in Spain from 1995 to 2008

Abstract

This paper is the last in a series of quantitative studies about Supported Employment in Spain, looking at how the situation has changed since the previous studies. The study is based on an Internet survey of all organizations participating in the national ECA Caja Madrid program. The results show a significant increase in the number of organizations that provide Supported Employment programs, in total 202, delivering services to 23,342 users in Spain. This paper analyses the characteristics of the services provided, the users, the professionals and the funding.

Este artículo presenta el último de una serie de estudios cuantitativos sobre la situación del empleo con apoyo en España, realizando comparaciones de evolución con los anteriores. Para ello y a través de internet se ha utilizado un cuestionario aplicado a todas las organizaciones participantes en el programa nacional ECA Caja Madrid. Los resultados muestran un significativo aumento del número de organizaciones desarrolladoras de empleo con apoyo que alcanzan las 202, y que proporcionan servicios a 23.341 usuarios en toda España. El artículo analiza características de los servicios desarrollados, los usuarios, los profesionales, y la financiación de los mismos
