Mujeres y poesía en la ESO: una revisión necesaria hacia la igualdad

Abstract

[ES]A lo largo de la historia la mujer ha sido obviada y silenciada en los diferentes espacios de poder mediante diversos mecanismos directa o indirectamente. Y, pese a que se ha avanzado mucho en temas de igualdad, es este todavía un tema candente con mucho recorrido por hacer. El presente trabajo se va a enfocar en dos ámbitos concretos en los que la mujer no ha tenido la palabra durante mucho tiempo: la educación y la poesía. Hemos elegido de toda la rama literaria la poesía porque es un ámbito de este arte que ha estado destinado especialmente a los hombres. El objetivo de este trabajo es la inclusión real de las poetas en las aulas, ante la importancia de construir un mundo basado en la igualdad. La intención no es solo la de plasmar las formas en las que pueden manifestarse la desigualdad y el sexismo en la escuela, sino también proponer cambios para lograr la inclusión de las mujeres poetas en el segundo ciclo de la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Para ello, hemos examinado la presencia de mujeres poetas en un determinado número de libros de texto de esta etapa educativa, así como los contenidos mínimos establecidos por la ley. A continuación, exponemos una serie de conclusiones extraídas del proceso de análisis, y finalizamos realizando determinadas propuestas de mejora sobre la realidad del Sistema Educativo.

[EN]Throughout history women have been omitted and silenced within the power structures by means of several mechanisms, both; directly and indirectly. Although a great deal has been done on the subject of equality, it is still a topic of discussion and there is still much more to be done. The present work will focus on two specific areas in which women have not had a say for far too long: education and poetry. Poetry is a field within art and literature which has meant to be for man and that is why poetry has been chosen in this paper. The aim of this work is the real inclusion of women poets in classrooms, in light of the significance of building a world based on equality. The purpose is not only to reflect different ways in which inequality and sexism can be appeared in the school, but also to suggest changes in order to achieve women poet’s inclusion at the end of A-levels. To that end, the presence of women poets has been examined in a specified number of text books in that educational stage, as well as the minimum educational standards established by the law. Then, a set of conclusions have been stated in the closing of this paper that have been drawn from the analysis process. The work ends up with some conclusions and suggested improvements regarding the Educational System.
