Los estereotipos de género en el ámbito familiar

Abstract

[ES]Con el propósito de detectar la necesidad de formar a las familias en el ámbito de la igualdad de género se ha elaborado una investigación cualitativa a partir de la pregunta de indagación: ¿Existen actualmente estereotipos de género en los niños y niñas de 0-6 años procedentes de su contexto familiar?, mediante la cual se pretende hallar si existen actitudes estereotipadas procedentes del contexto familiar. Durante la realización del trabajo se han consultado dife-rentes fuentes bibliográficas como base de conocimiento sobre la temática. Los datos recogi-dos durante la indagación se han conseguido mediante las técnicas de observación partici-pante y no participante, después se ha procedido a su categorización y codificación creándose un árbol de indización utilizado para un posterior análisis de los datos extraídos. Las conclu-siones obtenidas dan respuesta a los objetivos y la pregunta de indagación. Las deducciones de esta investigación son varias: se ha mostrado que existen estereotipos de género en los niños y niñas de 0-6 años derivados del ámbito familiar, se ha detectado la necesidad de formar a las familias en este aspecto y se ha elaborado un programa de intervención para ello.

[EN]Qualitative research has been conducted in order to identify the necessity to educate families in the field of gender equality based on the question: Are there gender stereotypes currently in children among 0 and 6 years old from their family sphere? This inquiry is expected to find out if there are stereotypical behaviours from the family context. Different sources have been con-sulted as a knowledge basis whilst the study was carried out. The collected data was obtained from the participant and non-participant observation techniques, then it has been categorised and encoded to create an indexed tree that was subsequently used to analyze the obtained data. The achieved conclusions answer the goals and the question of the research. Several infe-rences can be drawn from this investigation: it has been confirmed that there are gender ste-reotypes in children between 0 and 6 years old coming from the family sphere, the need to educate families in this aspect has been detected, and an intervention program has been deve-loped for that.
