dc.description.abstract[EN] In the framework of a globalised society, governed by the dominant parameters imposed by neoliberal capitalism and, thus, the prevalence of the economy over other areas that affect people’s lives, it is clear that social injustices and inequalities are amplified under the protection of a system of oppression that acts on certain groups and collectives that have traditionally remained on the margins of the hegemonic discourse. In this sense, it is worth highlighting the special relevance of the access to justice right and its effective exercise in conditions of equality for those people who are in a situation of special vulnerability, such as women, migrants, LGBTI+ people, people with disabilities or people without economic resources. Thus, highlighting the important role of equal access to justice in the framework of the 2030 Agenda within the SDG-16 on “Peace, justice and strong institutions”, the aim of this proposal is the design and implementation of a teaching innovationmethodology that promotes learning outcomes aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, paying special attention to the importance of equal access to justice as a right that guarantees other rights and as an instrument for reducing social inequalities. In that way, through the development of the Teaching Innovation Project of theUniversity of Salamanca “Active participation methodologies to promote sustainable learning in terms of equal access to justice for people in vulnerable situations”, the introduction of the so-called “Education for Sustainable Development” in the teaching–learning process is promoted through the active participation of students in order to become an agent of change.es_ES
