[EN] Artificial intelligence is transforming society, and libraries are playing an increasingly important role in helping citizens understand this technology. This project proposes positioning libraries as AI literacy hubs by providing resources, learning spaces, and educational activities that enable users to understand how artificial intelligence works, explore its applications, and critically examine its ethical, social, and cultural implications. In doing so, libraries reinforce their traditional mission as trusted institutions that promote informed citizenship and support meaningful participation in the digital society. The initiative advocates combining traditional knowledge with emerging technologies to create inclusive learning environments where people can critically understand, use, and evaluate AI systems. By promoting AI literacy alongside essential digital competencies, the project aims to strengthen critical thinking, reduce digital inequalities, and ensure equitable access to AI knowledge regardless of users' previous educational background or technological expertise.es_ES
