Tertuliano y Cipriano sobre los judíos: una contradicción ideológica

Abstract

RESUMEN: El ataque de Tertuliano y Cipriano contra los judíos estuvo acompañado de ciertas contradicciones ideológicas en torno a temas tan esenciales como la idolatría, la tolerancia religiosa o la antigüedad de la doctrina. Sin embargo, la actitud antijudía se mantuvo firme a través de la proclamación de una implacable condena de los judíos al final de los tiempos.

ABSTRACT: The onrush of Tertullian and Cyprian against the Jews was joined with some ideological contradictions about essential themes such as idolatry, the religious tolerance or the doctrine's antiquity. However, the antijudaic attitude persisted throughout the proclamation of a relentless sentencing of the Jews at the end of time.
