Investigación del consumo de antimicrobianos de uso tópico en España: estudio especial de los colirios y su impacto en situaciones especiales

Abstract

[ES] En dicha tesis se tratará de verificar la dimensión del consumo de antibióticos tópicos en oftalmología y estudiar si es adecuado a la patología infecciosa ocular. Para ello se tendrán en cuenta los siguientes objetivos: -Valorar la magnitud y el impacto en la selección de cepas resistentes. -Conocer el impacto de los antibióticos de uso tópico utilizados en oftalmología desde puntos de vista económico, sanitario y ecológico y sentar las bases para su uso prudente. -Conocer la magnitud de las infecciones del polo anterior en España. -Cuantificar el rendimiento de los cultivos microbiológicos obtenidos a partir de las muestras oftalmológicas remitidas. -Comprobar que los antibióticos incluidos en los antibiogramas realizados se -corresponden con los antibióticos que existen en formulación tópica ocular. -Estimar la dimensión del uso de antibióticos en colirio. -Comparar el empleo de los antibióticos de uso tópico ocular con el de los antibióticos de administración sistémica y con el resto de tópicos. -Comprobar si las directrices de buen uso de antibióticos se cumple en el caso de los tópicos. -Delimitar el campo de asociaciones entre antibióticos y/o con otros fármacos en las presentaciones comerciales. -Analizar la tendencia de consumo de los antibióticos tópicos oculares en el periodo de nuestro estudio. -Identificar los principios activos más utilizados en la composición de tópicos en asociación. -Estimar la dispensación de los fármacos más consumidos tanto a nivel nacional como autonómico y provincial. -Cuantificar el gasto de los fármacos más consumidos a nivel nacional, autonómico y provincial. -Identificar aquellas presentaciones que no cumplen la normativa legal vigente. -Estudiar un método para conocer in vitro el impacto ecológico de los tratamientos tópicos con antibiótico en colirios.

[EN] In this thesis we seek to verify the extent of use of topical antibiotics in ophthalmology and consider whether it is appropriate to the infectious eye disease.
