La memoria de la Guerra Civil en el teatro español: 1939-2009

Abstract

[ES] El trauma histórico de la Guerra Civil no ha dejado de repercutir en la cultura peninsular. Después de la tergiversación de la historia y la amnesia colectiva que primaban durante el régimen y la transición política respectivamente, la contienda ha cobrado cada vez más relieve dentro de la dramaturgia española. Esta tesis examina desde un prisma histórico-teórico la representación teatral de la memoria colectiva de dicha conflagración en más de 140 piezas españolas entre 1939 y 2009. Se centra en la mudanza de un teatro que suele recurrir a la técnica de la memoria implícita el estilo de montar el conflicto de 1936 sin descubrir expresamente el rol de la remembranza en el montaje, a uno que favorece la técnica de la memoria explícita, la cual escenifica manifiestamente el rol de la retentiva. Visto por decenios, los años 70 es la primera década en la que el número de piezas que emplea la estética explícita llega a ser idéntica al que se aprovecha del estilo implícito. Así, después del primer capítulo teórico-histórico, el segundo capítulo, se dedica al estudio de las 63 piezas escritas entre 1939 y 1969, deteniéndose especialmente en El tragaluz (1967) de Antonio Buero Vallejo, obra que principia el subgénero que denominamos el de la meta-memoria histórica. Este subgénero se aprovecha del recurso de la memoria explícita para poner en tela de juicio las divergencias y similitudes entre una memoria colectiva de una época y otra de otro período, como es la memoria pragmática. Al analizar la estética y temática de las 86 obras que conforman el tercer capítulo, se pone de relieve la eclosión de piezas redactadas en los albores del siglo XXI, acentuando sobre todo la consagración del subgénero de la meta-memoria histórica

[EN] The historical trauma of the Civil War has continued to affect the mainland culture. After the falsification of history and the collective amnesia that prevailed during the regime and the political transition respectively, the contest has become increasingly emphasized in the Spanish drama. This thesis examines from a historical and theoretical prism theatrical representation of the collective memory of the conflagration in more than 140 Spanish pieces between 1939 and 2009. It focuses on the removal of a theater that often uses the technique of implicit memory mount style 1936 conflict undiscovered specifically the role of remembrance in the assembly, to one that favors the explicit memory technique, which clearly portrays the role of mindfulness. This subgenre takes advantage of explicit memory resource to put into question the differences and similarities between a collective memory of a time and one other period as is pragmatic memory. When analyzing the aesthetics and themes of the 86 works that make up the third chapter highlights the emergence of pieces written in the twenty-first century, emphasizing particularly the consecration of the sub-genre of historical meta-memory
