Resumen
[ES] En este trabajo de investigación se avanza una teorización en clave ecológica y simbólica de la religiosidad telúrica quechuandina, mediante una comprensión hermenéutica y un análisis semiótico de las configuraciones representacionales que atañen al imaginario cultual de la Tierra en los Andes Centrales del Cuzco (Perú). Concretamente se analiza cómo las poblaciones quechuas de las alturas de Ollataytambo perciben a la tierra, esto es, a un elemento integrante de su entorno ambiental, como un ser vivo en cuanto productivo y cuya benevolencia es necesario propiciar ritualmente para poder seguir subsistiendo en la sierra. Para ello, se ha tomado a examen el amplio abanico de fuentes documentales que el corpus de estudios antropológicos de referencia ha venido proporcionando, durante diversas décadas, acerca de las manifestaciones religiosas a lo telúrico en área cuzqueña y centro-andina, y se ha analizado, al mismo tiempo, el imaginario telúrico quechuandino a la luz de una metodología de interpretación hermenéutica y semiótica, así como de enfoques propios de la Antropología Simbólica y Ecológica que han sido contextualizados a los datos y resultados del trabajo de campo etnográfico. En líneas generales, se ha profundizado antropológicamente en el trasfondo simbólico de la veneración quechua a la tierra andina porque la noción de `tierra¿ es indisociable del ethos de vida de los pueblos quechuandinos, desde que éstos conquistaron el espacio andino hace miles de años atrás, convirtiéndolo en su morada material y en uno de sus mayores bienes productivos junto con la ganadería; porque esta temática apenas se encuentra esbozada en las investigaciones antropológicas centro-andinas, las mismas que tienden además a proporcionar categorías inexactas de las formas simbólicas de veneración telúrica en los Andes del Cuzco, como son las de `sobrenatural¿ y `divino¿; por último, porque este tema sigue siendo de extrema actualidad por la vinculación práctica que existe entre las dimensiones simbólico-religiosas de lo telúrico, por un lado, y la topografía y dialéctica ecológica en la que se desarrolla la vida cotidiana de las poblaciones quechuandinas, por otro lado. En este trabajo de investigación se demuestra de hecho cómo los quechuas del Cuzco ollantino ostentan un imaginario simbólico de la tierra fundamentado en diversos estadios de personificación metafórica de la misma, que sin embargo ellos identifican literalmente con el paisaje topográfico y con la productividad agro-pastoril que caracterizan a lo telúrico en cuanto elemento con el que establecen un contacto cotidiano y determinante de cara a su continuidad vital en la sierra. De este modo, el imaginario telúrico quechuandino se presenta como un acervo de configuraciones simbólicas en las que no existe `sobrenaturalidad¿, desde el momento en que la cosmovisión religiosa quechua no contempla ningún elemento o fenómeno relacionado con lo telúrico que sea incompatible con el funcionamiento biológico de las leyes naturales y con la dialéctica ecológica que en éstas corresponda; lo cual conlleva, por otro lado, a que el culto religioso de los quechuas ollantinos a la tierra tampoco se base en la veneración de una imagen deificada, sino en la veneración a la tierra por lo que es y por cómo es. Así las cosas, la de la tierra andina se presenta por lo tanto como una ¿religiosidad de la inmanencia¿, en la que priman las cualidades topográficas y los hechos ecológicos relacionados con este elemento, y en la que el culto ritual que los quechuas tributan al mismo se justifica en aras del mantenimiento de una reciprocidad hombre-tierra, indispensable para que esta última siga produciendo y garantizando la continuidad vital en la sierra ollantina.
